Florian obtained his PhD in Molecular Biology from the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen (GER) in 2009, wondering why so many biologists are still not exploiting the full potential of computers the everyday work of bioscience research. Seeing the necessities of general changes in data handling and information management, he co-founded labfolder to make the changes happen.
